I bought as a replacement for the Samsung A71 which I have had for 4 years and is slowly running out of support. They are similar in size, but out of the box the A55 is noticeably heavier, but looks more solid. The cameras are very protruding, so I will definitely be getting coverslips for the lenses as well. The controls are snappy, fingerprint unlocking works well, I haven't encountered any downside so far, for me satisfaction. In the package there is only a cable without a charger, which I take as a plus, because I no longer use the classic charger and I do not needlessly accumulate more.
