The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro really surprised me. The sound is beautifully clear, the bass is pronounced without sounding overbassed, and the noise cancellation works great even on public transport or at work. In addition, the new Adaptive ANC 2.0 technology uses more advanced artificial intelligence. In practice, this means that while the previous generation occasionally let in unexpected high-frequency sounds from the surroundings, the new model filters out these disturbing elements much more reliably and responds much more smoothly and naturally to sudden changes in noisy environments. ​Smart gadgets have also undergone significant functional improvements. Head gesture control, which sometimes required a bit more movement in the previous generation, is much more responsive and precise in Buds 4 Pro. Receiving a call with a slight nod works quite naturally and without a single hesitation. The quality of the microphones is also noticeably improved when making calls in windy environments, where the new algorithm isolates your voice from the surrounding noise much better. Although the battery life has remained more or less at a similar, very solid level, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are overall a perfect refinement of an already great concept and represent a more mature and sophisticated product compared to the previous generation.

I replaced the headphones after about 5 years when I had the Redmi buds 3 pro. Well, I have to say that the difference between these headphones is significant and noticeable at the very first notes you play. Noise cancellation is great - when it's at 100%, the surroundings are absolutely not out of your earshot. The headphone controls take some getting used to, but I don't think it will be a problem over time. It's great that they pair without an app just via Bluetooth and are so easy to set up too - much more affordable. The IP57 rating is fine and they are suitable for sports, they are comfortable when running, they don't fall off. The worst thing is changing the plugs. A little risky that the rubber will break off during replacement. But all in all, I'm satisfied. Definitely a big headphone shift for me.
