Definitely the best Android currently on the market. Maybe it's just me, but with titanium, my whole body feels lighter. Against the iPhone 14 pro has, in my opinion, subjectively better photos, Apple again video. AI features seem to me so far such for playing, nothing life changing. But Google will definitely want to take on OpenAI eventually. The stabilized zoom lenses are really good, it can definitely see into the distance better than a human (use it as a telescope too) and it can be held in one hand without knocking which is excellent. In general, compared to the other camera with a good lens (A1/50mm f1.2), we're still far from being able to get fast focusing and quality bokeh on the move. But HDR landscapes, for example, are getting pretty close. It's good for that kind of home clicking. The macro is rather disappointing, it's through a wide angle lens and there's a weird perspective distortion. It would require a longer focal point. Video is in my opinion already superior to a pro camera when I take into account the need for post-production, filters to limit the light to have a shutter speed of about 1/2 framerate and an optical stabilizer. Mobile man pulls out of his pocket and has a quality 4k60fps video straight away.
The optically stabilized 5x-10x zoom is really good. Handles video too
The fastest snapdragon (not Exynos! )
Practical with pen directly in the body
Light
It lasts two days
120hz display with high brightness and super colours
Dear
Against Apple unnecessarily complicated Google + Samsung account setup and 10x eula on all sorts of services and apps
Zoom in video has a visible moment when the lenses switch, Apple has this invisible

Well the phone so far seems like a major improvement coming from s22 ultra. The battery is also pretty good in comparison to s22 and even iPhone this time.

The phone is quite heavy and the size is already borderline, but it comes in handy when writing with the S-Pen. These are actually the only cons that are easy to get used to. The fast response, brightness and display processing along with the camera lens are among the main positives. I am extremely satisfied.

Display really awesome
Instant response, smooth animations
I'm sure the memory will last a while
Seamless transfer of data and settings from the previous phone
Paired Bluetooth devices from the previous phone need to be removed and re-paired. But that's not the phone's problem.

I'm adding a lot of negatives here, but that doesn't mean the phone is that bad. The phone arrived in a minimalist box, which its size already made it clear that I should not expect any bonus. The phone is the current top of the line and, in my opinion, a direct competitor to Apple's flagship. In terms of ergonomics, I would reproach the phone for its rectangular shape and for my taste not very ideally rounded edges. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ have a much better shape and curvature. The equipment of the phone is excellent, unfortunately, when comparing the parameters with models starting at 1/3 of the price, the difference is not so noticeable and one does not want to pay so much. But you can tell the difference in the phone software. The seven-year support suggests that the phone should maintain this level of support throughout the entire support period. The phone is the first of its kind in the AI era, the time is coming when this technology will be assimilated into a mobile phone with real added value. Yes AI is written all over the place these days, but only certain products and features are really starting to make sense and are truly AI in its true form. Samsung seems to be looking to add these features to its phones in a meaningful way, and the S24 is the current ideal phone for such a future. The question is how Samsung will approach the current 2 year support for AI features. From my point of view: some AI features are based on Google's OS, so it depends on the direction Google sets. And the second opinion is that if they start charging for features, they will probably give a competitive advantage to the competition. On the other hand, one can understand the need to limit and charge for functions. that are in the cloud and require a significant cost for the necessary computing power.
Haptic response
Excellent display
Smooth animations
Equipment
Rectangular format, less comfortable in the hand
Convex lenses. Perhaps a horizontal arrangement would be better, as the raised part of the design is then only on one side and the phone, lying on its back, wobbles.
Location of the fingerprint reader in the display, ergonomically inconvenient. The previous phone I used had a fingerprint reader on the back, just below the camera. It didn't bother me when holding the phone and a simple movement was enough to perform the authorization. This seems to me the best option, because you only consciously use the reader when you actually want to use it. The placement on new phones, including Samsung's is in the display, which is annoying to me. So when you ask to use the reader, a pictogram appears over that part of the display and overlays the app, this is not user friendly to me. In addition, when I finish work, I turn the phone off with the button, take it between two fingers and put it in my breast pocket, and at that exact moment I put my thumb in the reader area to unlock the phone. Very impractical!
Adaptive Brightness - You cannot shift the brightness level while maintaining adaptive brightness to the surrounding environment. For me, the phone is too dark in the dark (suitable for sleepy eyes, but not for bedtime use)
The S Pen is located in the lower left. It holds very well, for now, but for a better feeling I would prefer to have it at the top. In addition, to check if the phone is inside, it would be enough to just tilt the phone slightly, instead of fencing and less comfortable lifting and dislocating your hand.
The stylus looks like this to me. fragile. Somewhere on YouTube I saw how someone broke it in a test and every time I take it in my hand its thin plastic body and the knowledge that it contains electronics inside makes me distrust its strength.
I don't find S Pen very intuitive to use.
The location of the SIM card and the opening for the SIM opening tool is right next to the microphone hole. There is a protective sticker on the display with pictograms indicating where to use the tool and where not to. It is therefore important to remember and pay close attention to this in the future.
No magnetic attachment option. I don't understand that in 2024 manufacturers don't already have some form of magnetic attachment as standard. I have a simple magnetic holder in my car and a plain metal plate glued to the cover. Ideal solution, my phone does not roll anywhere, I do not have to snap it in any way or hit some cradle. Why don't they have that phone as standard? It would be a better feature than wireless charging.
IR is missing, I've only used it a few times on other phones, but for a phone for that kind of money I would expect this interface as well.
The contents of the package, really minimalistic and poor packaging. For that price, I would have expected a premium gift, like a SmartTag.

Although it looks like there are more cons than pros, don't be mistaken. Holt if I buy something that is supposed to be premium, I want premiumness with everything. Nobody who buys a Ferrari assumes that the car will be shod in baroomas and you'll have to buy a rear-view mirror. I guess. All around, however, it is an absolutely top-notch phone that I am still happy with and that has been serving me for almost a month now. I switched from the Note 10+ and although I thought the change wouldn't be big, it is. The camera is a big leap and working in Photoshop, for example, is now a joy thanks to Snapdragon 3. I would also like to thank Alza, who gave me a decent price tag for the phone and most importantly, got it for me less than a week after the official unveiling.
Above all, speed - thanks to the most advanced processor yet, the phone is truly lightning fast
Elegant and premium design - everyone knows you're holding a cannon
Great camera with incredible zoom. It's really cutting edge
120Hz display
A billion options in settings and good system functionality. There are small bugs, but overall the system is well tuned
Straight diplay - the rounded one is chunkier, but the straight one is really more functional
Glass is not as reflective as its predecessors
Excellent sound from the speakers
only 45W charging - my wife charges her phone with 120W and has it charged in 20 minutes. Here it's well over an hour (with a 45W charger)
absence of any charger let alone a 45 Watt charger in the package
samsung used to include USB-C-A-jack 3.5mm adapters, stylus tips, and headphones in the flags pack in addition to the charger. You can forget about that now. 50% more expensive and you get a lot less. Completely inappropriate behaviour by Samsung
What I further dislike is that Samsung, in order to sell more new watches, has ended the compatibility of new phones with older watches. I can now throw away my perfectly functional Galaxy S3 Frontier. The lesson for me personally - I simply won't buy another smartwatch from Samsung even if it were 20% of the original price. This is about the principle
Absence of any display saturation setting. With the Note 10, I solved this via "settings" - "ease" - "improve vision" - "color correction" and then there was an item in the app for individual settings where I stacked the wheels according to color in a big circle and as a result the colors popped and the display was beautifully colored.
(here is my video: https://youtu. be/nTTxf3dcqIw? si=Cs3RTPyU8xMKgXy2) This is now missing and even the "live" vs "natural" option doesn't work as it should. More likely it doesn't work at all, devil knows if Samsung will fix it. And no, the bad saturation isn't Armor glass as some reviewers are muttering, it's just the software.
The diplay and TV manufacturers try to push overblown shades and match colours almost to brown (THX, Dolby vison, True cinema mods in TV etc. ). I don't like this at all. If I buy an OLED TV or phone, I want high saturation and vibrant colors, not to have my phone in some night mode.
No SD card slot
exorbitant price
