I switched from the Galaxy S23 and I have to say that the Ultra version is in a whole different league. My old phone seemed slower and I didn't have enough memory for photos and videos. With the S26 Ultra, I finally have peace of mind. The battery holds up great even on a busy day, which was my biggest problem with the S23. I'm absolutely thrilled with the privacy display, it's very practical and yet the colours remain top notch. I can compare with my S25 Ultra. I'm not even going to write about the private display feature, that's one of the most well-known draws. The display itself now seems noticeably more polished with even less glare - even when writing with the stylus I notice an improvement in response. Now it feels even closer to writing on paper. Plus, the phone has "AI Photoshop" built right in which I like a lot, noticeably faster charging, the cameras got a decent upgrade when shooting in low light and it's the lightest ultra in history so far + there's a lot of other features that aren't talked about much. I'm always discovering new things. For example, improved NFC range for payments. For me, this upgrade is definitely worth it.

This makes the phone feel more comfortable in the hand and the ergonomics are noticeably better than those of the edgier generations. As a user of the S23 Ultra, however, I see one small negative. It's a shame that the S Pen no longer has the Bluetooth functionality that previously allowed, for example, remote control of the camera or presentations. Overall, however, the S26 Ultra feels like a premium device without compromise. The combination of top performance, innovative features, a quality camera and a great design makes it one of the best phones on the market.
