The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic is my first smartwatch. I chose the Samsung watch primarily for the blood pressure measurement. The watch is really beautiful. At first I was worried about their weight, but the next day I didn't even feel them on my hand anymore. It's a great fit. I would have a complaint about the length of the tape. I don't think I have a strong hand, but I have the belt on the penultimate hole, which is not optimal 'by design'. The initial connection of the watch with the Samsung A54 phone and its basic setup went without problems, but it took me some time to perfect the settings and it is still in progress. The annoying thing is that some settings can't be made from your phone, so you have to manually figure out what can be set and where. For example, I mention the wifi settings, because entering passwords from the watch keyboard is a real 'chore'. In addition, the Samsung keyboard cannot be used for voice input in Czech, so I had to install the Google gboard keyboard, which is inferior in terms of classic use. Furthermore, I lack verification of which GPS the apps are taking data from, i.e. whether from the watch or the phone. This is important in terms of battery saving, which is probably the biggest weakness of the watch. I have problems with measuring the pressure so far, because the watch sometimes measures with astonishing accuracy and sometimes with a difference of up to 20 units. I'm comparing against an older Omron meter, so I can't be 100% sure that the Omron always gives the correct results. When it comes to syncing health and sports data between apps, everything between FIT, Samsung Health and SmartBP is basically as it should be via Health Connect. For blood pressure, ECG and sleep apnea measurements, you need to have the Samsung Health Monitor app installed. I also consider the use of Wear OS and therefore the ability to install many standard applications to be a big plus. So as far as the watch is concerned, for me, the positives highly outweigh the negatives so far. I'll see if it lasts.

What I have to praise is the design, I really like the combination of silver with small accessories in black. Another plus, which is very big for me is the rotating lunette, because of it I also waited for this generation, because I missed it in the previous generation, I use it nonstop, it's much better than swiping my finger from side to side or up and down. The only major imperfection of the watch is the battery, which lasts a day, a day and a half, which is not much when competing brands last much longer.
