Over many years, I've gone through several generations of watches from other brands and then Samsung, with and without a bezel, most recently the GW5. The new GW9 watch fits perfectly on the wrist, it's light, has a low profile, and is easy to control. It's so comfortable to wear that I don't even feel like I have it on. Unfortunately, the strap has been updated again, so it's not compatible with my previous GW5, where I really liked the magnetic clasp. The buttons are quite low for my chunky hands, but at least there's no risk of accidental presses or other strain. The display is clear, easy to read, and easy to control, including the edge. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the setting for the rotation speed because the default is too "fast" for me, and I always overshoot the tile I want. Given my age, I no longer use the sports activity tracking, apart from walks, but I do use all the health functions. Wearing it 24/7, I mostly just use notifications, weather, the timer, and occasionally the phone (LTE version). I don't use the music player or pictures, I've only just tried the AI assistant, and I'm rarely out of WiFi range. Despite this, I have to charge it at least once a day. Compared to the GW5 with its several-year-old battery, this is a significant step back. I'd welcome an extra millimetre of thickness for a larger battery capacity and faster charging. However, the functions and apps run smoothly and don't lag, and the connection (including remote) has been problem-free so far. It just seems to me that it uses a lot of power via BT, both on the watch and the phone – in my opinion, this is a software issue and a task for future updates.
