It feels comfortable to hold both folded and unfolded, it isn't extremely slippery in the hand, and I'm not afraid to use it without a case (which backfired on me yesterday, I dropped it on its corner outside), but I consider it a baptism of fire, a durability test for the greater good, if you will (before a certain YouTuber does his own and takes a lighter to the phone). You can see the result in the photo – the aluminium used is really very durable, the whole phone feels very dense and solid. TIP: It's an absolute must to start using GoodLock and HomeUp from Samsung (you can find them in the Samsung App Store).

Everything is fast, apps launch instantly, and I haven't encountered any lagging, even when playing games or using multiple apps at once. Plus, the One UI interface is well-adapted for folding phones, so everything works exactly as it should. It's just that some apps aren't fully optimised yet. The camera takes very nice photos. During the day, the photos are sharp with lovely colours, and the phone holds its own in the evening too. If someone is looking for the absolute best camera phone on the market, they might go for the Ultra series, but for everyday photography, the quality is more than sufficient. The battery easily lasted me a full day with normal use. The charging could be a bit faster, but it's not something that limits me in my daily life. The only thing that might put a lot of people off is the price. It's a really expensive phone, and you have to think carefully about whether you will actually make use of the folding design. If you will, I think the investment is worth it. After switching to the Fold8, regular phones seem unnecessarily small and, most importantly, less practical. Overall, I'm really happy with the phone. It offers a great display, high performance, quality build, and features you just won't find on a regular phone. I was excited about this phone from the moment the speculation started – I was an enthusiastic user of the Pixel Fold and the Surface Duo, which were based on a similar concept of opening the phone 'landscape-style' like a tablet, but they had their issues. If you're expecting the same thing, just on a bigger display, you might be disappointed.
