As far as the lid is concerned, I am a bit worried about the lid opening breaking, as it has happened to me with other kettles. Most of my kettles then just had the lid open and therefore went out of the house. The heating speed is fast for me and it's also out of logic when the kettle has a power of 2200W. However, I have had faster kettles, but for the money very good. The insulation of the kettle is better average. So far, satisfaction with the kettle prevails.
