. I own the Sony WH-1000XM4 and wanted something smaller for travel, the big ones are bulky and make my ears sweat in the summer. I also had the WF-1000XM3. I forgot that in-ear headphones will never sound like something that has a 4cm transducer. The sound is probably good for earbuds, I can't compare with another brand of headphones, I haven't had any. I wouldn't say it's miles better than the WF-1000XM3. As I said about the sound, it's pretty good, but if these are the best sounding earbuds according to reviews, I can't imagine how the cheaper ones from all manufacturers sound. You don't get the rich, detailed sound you get from the big Sony, especially at lower volumes. But what's worse, the connection drops out, three days maybe fine, then every other step, one or the other drops out. More people have a problem with it according to the feedback around the world. Tried everything, nothing helps. The WF-1000XM3 never did. It's a Samsung S23 Ultra, so it's probably not the phone. ANC good, but again incomparably worse with WH-1000XM4. When talking with music off and pass-through mode on, it's hard to hear the person talking to you.

I took these Sonaks as a kind of emergency replacement for the wire inears which play just a tad better. In the end, total satisfaction, it is necessary to switch them to LDAC where at least there is not such a terrible compression of the audio when transmitting over BT. But the foam tips were a big disappointment, so I replaced them with silicone Azla Sedna ASMR with an internal hexagonal grid. They sound basically the same, only slightly less damped but sound neutral compared to foam tips.

For a while I was very skeptical if the headphones would be worth the money, but after I completely set them up (a process as long as a Czech railroad lockout), I immediately understood that these are really some of the best headphones I've had in my ears (and I've had a lot of them). The sound is absolutely amazing, balanced, clear, equalizer for you to adjust all the parameters of the headphones while listening and you are in the 7th heaven. ANC is the thing I bought them for. and I have to admit, SONY has done this one really beautifully. For me I recommend and if you will scratch the earbuds because of the material, there are also silicone ones on ali directly for this model with a grid, so the only minus is solved in 2 minutes of searching on the net and 53 CZK: D.

The noise cancellation doesn't work. they are no better than a cheap pair of earplugs for blocking noise and turning ANC on or off changes almost nothing.
