I've wanted a contact grill for a long time, but never got around to it. Black Friday 2024 finally convinced me with a beautiful price of 1.999Kč. After reading the reviews here, it seemed like an absolutely flawless helper, which after the first few uses, seems to be absolutely accurate! I haven't tried all the automatic programs yet, but the most important ones: toast and meat. As someone who has lived my entire life with a classic toaster that clamps down on its contents with pressure, I have to admit that this system is MUCH better. For me personally, the most pleasant discovery was the fact that the toast is perfectly crispy, the cheese is melted, but you can still eat it right away and not burn your mouth (which was common with the old system). The opposite is the case with foldability, for example. Even this smaller model (Tefal sells the same thing in the XL version) is still a pretty essential piece of equipment. If you were deciding on buying one and you have less space in your kitchen, definitely make a small paper model because it will definitely be bigger than you think. The automatic programs are absolutely sufficient for now, but there is also the option of manual temperature setting, so everyone should find their own use. As far as cleaning goes, it's absolutely 10 out of 10 so far! A bowl for dripping grease - excellent idea. Nice removable plates - great. Everything can be put in the dishwasher, but of course it is good to remove any burnt cheese and the like by hand first. A few people here have complained about the shorter power cord, but for me it is purposely exactly as long as it should be. I think the machine used in this way is on a line where there should be an outlet nearby. If I want to cook outside, I take an extension cord and I don't see that as a minus at all. It's a little cooking revolution for me and the family, so I can only recommend it to others!

The only drawback is the way it is stored - it can't stand on its side or on its butt. It has a cable outlet on the back and no lock for the closed position.
