My wife was vacuuming the carpet and the top of the handle broke. Probably some scumbag because my wife has arthritis and has virtually no strength. For the top to crack like that when vacuuming the carpet doesn't do the TESLA brand much good. This is a TESLA PowerStar GT400, don't let all the reviews under this vacuum cleaner, belong to another type of vacuum cleaner, some battery operated.

My first experience with a vacuum cleaner and steam mop in one. I must praise the suction power - even though it has a large head, it sucks so strongly that it collects dust even up to about 5 cm around the head, which to some extent compensates for this shortcoming. However, use around the toilet or in a small bathroom is impossible, as is vacuuming under the couch/bed/furniture. It just doesn't get there because it can't fold down enough and into corners and around toilets etc. you still need to use the narrow nozzle of a conventional vacuum cleaner. If there is more dust on the floor, I recommend vacuuming first and then using hot steam, as it happens that the dust turns yellow on walls and thresholds and cannot be mopped up. (the trick is to change the direction of wiping, then it can be collected quite well). Unusable on carpets even with the attachment - forward it's more for man-power, and I'm not a tintie, and backward the head lifts up and goes only on wheels a piece above the ground. And probably what annoyed me the most was the power cord, which has to be manually wound, so it gets tangled under your feet all the time (you'd probably have to draw a motion plan to plan it out so it doesn't get tangled) and you have to constantly bend over and wind it or unwind it. Together with the weight of the device, cleaning becomes quite a workout. What I haven't figured out at all is how to change the cloth on the mop - it's supposed to come off, but I couldn't do it. I had to put the whole vacuum cleaner down, kneel down next to it and take the rag right off. Personally, I would recommend this vacuum cleaner more for normal everyday cleaning in the kitchen or for the kids, but for such a proper vacuum cleaner, definitely keep a regular vacuum cleaner. But what annoyed me was the delivery from Alza - I bought "unpacked" not "used" and the vacuum cleaner arrived with a full water tank and especially a full dust container! I had to clean it up after someone first. That's why I'm returning it, I don't want to see any hidden glitches. I'll try some other device of this type and this time only a new one.
