The instructions in the app and in the PDF don't offer a procedure for setting up just an access point. I finally figured out that you have to pair it and set it up as a second router and only then switch it to access point mode. I would have appreciated this being among the main settings. But it works perfectly.
works without problems
Expanding the existing Wi-Fi.
The initial setup is quite complicated if you just want an access point.

They work great, I just don't know why they report an update and yet nothing is updated.

The only bad thing was that I was buying an unpacked piece and alza didn't check if it was reset. That's why the second unit didn't connect and it took a while to find the problem.
