The belt holds very well even on imperfectly degreased surfaces. The setup in the app was quick and fairly simple. The ability to set your own flashing/lighting/colour change modes is great. The luminosity is not very high, but it is definitely enough for ambient or low-lighting of kitchen counters (not much during the day). The biggest minus is the colour rendering depending on what angle you see the tape from. For example, if you stretch it across the kitchen counter, some of the tape may appear more red and some white. This is due to the division of the diode into different coloured parts (RGBW) and the absence of any diffuser.
