The watches are Chinese junk compared to adult watches from better brands, but for the purpose of communication with the child (calling, texting) I can only RECOMMEND! I didn't have high expectations, but they are really functional and sufficient. Once we complained (they didn't turn on after about half a year), but they were replaced within 14 days.

I bought two watches for my two sons. Right inside the watch is a simple app store with a couple of apps, among which was WhatsApp. It was a nice surprise as everyone in our family uses WhatsApp. Plus, the watch can connect to Wifi, so it saves data. This alone greatly exceeded our expectations. The call quality was also very good. Even if the child is talking to who knows where, he can be heard and understood. The battery lasts about 2 days (without GPS) even though the boys haven't put them down since Christmas. The Wowme Tracker app is rather worse. The authors could certainly work on that.
