I bought this phone to replace my older Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, so I’ll be comparing it to that model. Overall, after the first few days of use, I’m very happy with the phone, particularly with how smoothly the system runs and the quality of the display. It’s nice and smooth and easy to read in sunlight. The camera is pretty decent too; perhaps I was expecting a bigger upgrade compared to my previous phone, as the photos aren’t that different in good lighting conditions. On the other hand, the telephoto lens and wide-angle sensor are significantly better. The battery life is also excellent; even with relatively heavy use (navigation, hotspot, YouTube, Spotify), the phone lasted just under 40 hours. I consider Gorilla Glass 7 to be a minor drawback, as it’s more suited to lower-mid-range phones – and this is all the more noticeable given that the Note 13 features Gorilla Glass Victus. The speakers are also a bit weaker, but that doesn’t bother me personally, as I hardly ever use them. And the final downside is that it does get quite warm during more demanding use, such as intensive photography, but in my opinion, it’s not anything too extreme. Overall, I’m very happy with the phone and haven’t noticed any major drawbacks in everyday use.
