The phone is very nice and it takes lovely photos too. However, I have a problem with an update, which I'm currently trying to sort out. They referred me to the manufacturer, so I'm waiting for a response directly from Xiaomi and a possible solution.

So far, I'm very satisfied with the Redmi Note 17. What I like most is the beautiful AMOLED display and the smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The massive 7700mAh battery and fast 45W charging are also a huge plus. The phone is snappy in everyday use and I find it great for editing videos. The camera also takes good photos and the HyperOS environment is pleasant to use. For this price, I think the Redmi Note 17 offers a great deal.

Absolutely satisfied with the phone, it looks even nicer in person than in the photos. The battery life is great, a quick charge during the day is all it needs and it lasts for a long time. A big plus is the ability to use the phone as a power bank for other devices. I was pleasantly surprised that a case (opaque) and a USB-C cable were included in the box. In terms of price-performance, it's an absolute bombshell!

Considering this is a phone for my son, it's a completely sufficient phone. We took the option to insure the phone because we "had" to buy a new one to replace a broken or lost one. It has a much bigger battery compared to the previous version, so it shouldn't be a problem to have the phone available for, say, two days. In this price category, it's probably the best choice.

I bought this phone for a family member. I tested it before handing it over and was pleasantly surprised by the features, especially the battery, the display and the included case. It has enough power for everyday apps. A great bit of kit.

I'm pleased with the phone. I like the AI features in the camera and also the high-quality resolution when shooting videos. The phone's sound is adequate even in noisier environments. I'm very impressed with the light suppression from the display when reading or looking at the screen for a long time. Lovely colours, sufficient resolution, fast charging. The fingerprint sensor is on the display, not on the side.
