For about 14 days, I was debating whether to buy a Garmin Fenix 8 or an Apple Watch Ultra 3. I pondered it for so long that it seemed pointless to have such a load of features in a watch. By some happy oversight, I stumbled across this fitness bracelet (it's just a smartwatch in an oval case), but let's call it a fitness bracelet because that's what everyone calls it. For that grand, I thought: "If it sucks, I'll throw it in the trash the next day and I won't be sorry." But like... WHAT? Like this: this is my first watch that can do more than just time and date, but can someone explain to me how this costs a grand? In words, one thousand ninety-nine Czech crowns. I'm really not getting this. Yeah, I'm happy. It's got everything I want and then some. Even if it has some nonsensical deviations in steps and HR sensor, it's still good for the money. It doesn't break, it looks nice, you can't even feel it on your hand and it even has a compass. Wow. I'm still discovering new features of this nifty little thing. Maybe in time I'll figure out that I need 20 grand Garmins, but for now the price is unjustified for me. Oh, and the battery life of this "bracelet" is incredible, which is a huge plus.
