He made our other old TV, which for years was mostly just dust in the bedroom, interestingly usable again. I have cancelled the DVB-T2 receiver connected to it because of the IP-TV with archive + other online services that we also use on the main TV in the living room.
The power supply of the Stick is via USB TV, so the possibility of turning off the Stick together with turning off the TV (just had to fiddle with the HDMI-CEC settings in the Strick and the TV itself) and thus there is no need to power it from the 230V/5V mains adapter.
It doesn't have an additional USB for connecting external storage (but I knew that before I bought it).
I miss the Channel+ and Channel- buttons on the remote (for better control of the EPG in IP-TV). I solved it with a third-party remote (next time I might buy something else, even here on Alza I found something similar to this stick that has the required buttons, functionally it will be the same and I would save money on the remote).

The main reason for the purchase was the requirement to get iBroadcast CT into an older "Smart" Samsung TV, as I find the content of this channel very interesting and classy for children. But to the device itself. to my surprise, it works perfectly. Installation was done in a few minutes and without having to study the manual. I find the OS intuitive, snappy (compared to Samsung's OS like lightning) and useless, I've completely cleared the home screen of distractions and left only the app I want, which is great when turning it on as the kids always see something that isn't needed. If I want to run the TV Stick, I only take the remote control for it (it also controls turning on the TV and volume), if I want to run classic broadcasts, I only take the one for the TV, which is fine for older users who don't like different combinations of controls. So I definitely recommend the device and I am glad that it saved me at least 10k for a new TV, which we would not have used much differently than the existing one.
