The TC parameter, an abbreviation for "Temperature Sensor," indicates the presence of a sensor in the cooler's design. The purpose of this sensor is to measure temperature, usually either directly on the cooled component or the temperature of the air passing through the cooling fins. The measured temperature value serves as input data for automatic fan speed control. In practice, when the load increases and the temperature subsequently rises, the sensor signals the fan to speed up to ensure more effective cooling. Conversely, when the load drops and the temperature decreases, the fan speed is automatically reduced. The main benefit of this feature is quieter operation of the system at idle, while ensuring sufficient cooling performance only when it is actually needed.
