For info: If someone also manages to turn off the backlight of the remote control by mistake, it is switched on by holding down the OK button for 5 seconds. However, deactivating the backlight may not be a bad idea, as during testing (according to the info in the TV menu) we managed to waste over 20% of the battery within 2 days.

The TV really surprised me with what it could do. Both in appearance, sound and image. for this money, I think, without competition. It' s my 4th TV in the house, and when I compare it to the 4,000 more expensive LG, I was terribly disappointed with the LG NanoLED' s screen backlight, which shows white spots if the screen is dark. There is nothing like that here. The sound is also noticeably better (both TVs are the same model year). Otherwise, the biggest problem with Android TV in general is speed. Both TV channel switching and Android speed. Here, everything is in perfect order again compared to android TV from TLC (TLC slightly more expensive, same model year). Everything runs beautifully fast, programs switch in a flash and KODI runs beautifully smoothly. Apparently there is enough memory, because every time the TV is turned off, KODI does not quit and leaves the program asleep, so after turning it on you can go back to where you left off, very nice. Since I have LG, Samsung, TLC and now Thomson at home, I can safely say that as soon as a TV is gone, I will change to this one, just different diagonals. If I don' t count the LG OLED, which was 7 times more expensive, then of the other TVs I have, they are definitely the BEST in terms of price/performance ratio.

I was impressed by the very pleasant price tag of Thomson TV. 4K TV for really great money and QLED is really an improvement over classic LED TV. When I received the Thomson TV I was surprised at how light it was. I originally wanted a 43" inch, ended up going with a 50" and I don' t regret it. The TV has a thin frame and a really nice design, which I like more than TVs from other and more popular manufacturers. Setup went smoothly. The only thing I struggled with a bit was connecting the Computer and the TV. There was a slow response when connecting. I found that the TV is only set to 30Hz in the PC, but the value could not be increased. Only when I went through the menu and turned off all the " enhancers" of the image, I went to set PC mode and set the TV to 60Hz on the computer, and the problem was solved. The only thing I miss is saving color profiles, because the preset ones are not much. But this is quite similar for all TVs, so I don' t take it as a negative TV, and maybe it will change over time.
