Just to be sure, I tried the toner on my HP Lasetjet Pro MFP M28a first with the old firmware and then with the new one (which has "dynamic security" or toner originality check enabled) and both worked fine. It's a pity that HP tries to block non-original toners (the one from Alza works), if HP toner cost 1000 and not 1559, I would buy the original. So hopefully the toner from Alza will last.
compatibility with "dynamic security" (although it says "Non-HP Black Cartridge", but prints fine)
perhaps higher yield than the original toner (it promises 1000 pages, but after 146 printed pages it reports a toner level of 30% and the number of remaining pages is 50), a serious scam by HP
good price

The cartridge fits into the printer and the printing seems to be perfectly fine
the chip on the cartridge is probably defective or not working, after inserting it into the printer an error message of toner incompatibility, I had to use the chip from the previous cartridge even though the printer reports empty toner
