I switched from a Pixel 8 Pro, which no longer lasted into the evening charged. I was looking for something that would work with an ASUS laptop. The ROG Phone is an amazing piece of hardware, perhaps the only thing I regret against the Pixel is the slightly weaker camera, but with the GCam app you can get decent pictures from it too.

I'm comparing the rog 8pro and 9pro. The newer nine series has undergone only minimal changes in terms of appearance. Progress is inside, more efficient cooling, stronger "guts" and you can enjoy games in full detail to the maximum. Compared to the previous version, the phone has modified the phone covers so that you don't cover the bottom repro with your fingers which was a problem with the previous model. The battery lasts a little longer, it discharges less. It has a better quality fingerprint reader, the camera does what it should, stabilization helped to take better photos but it's rather average but given that people buy this phone primarily to play so it is logical to expect that somewhere it will be poorer. I don't know why, but when talking through the speaker the top speaker rattles slightly, it's not quite audible as with the 8pro but it's there, anyone with sensitive ears will notice it. Anyway, who wants a powerful phone for gaming, this is the obvious choice. Question what will be next year in January for the new series, since the rog 9pro is defacto the 2024 model with only a few modifications inside. Hopefully it will last a long time for the price, no less I'd rather pay extra to replace the phone if something were to happen. Otherwise, I can advise on the original protective glass from asus. do not buy, it is very thin but just a small knock and the glass will crack. and a thousand sucks. Otherwise, the phone's display seems darker compared to the previous model, it is less visible in the sun. That's all for now, I hope it lasts a long time.
