So if there must be a 2x6 + 2 pin on each branch, then why must one of the cables on each branch be intertwined with a parallel branch? I really didn' t get this. The owner of this source is thus essentially prevented from covering the part with an unused 6 + 2 pin. This also means that it is impossible to use any plastic staples that could improve the overall appearance. I honestly thought it was a manufacturing defect when I picked up the first power branch. After unpacking the others, I found out that this is probably called ROG Strix quality .: D Seriously, those shortcomings have obscured everything I like about the source. And for punters like me, there' s no choice but to buy an extension cord set and use it to cover up production trouble. Which I really didn' t expect from a source that costs over 4k. In conclusion: Is this a quality resource? Undoubtedly. Can he defend his prize? In my opinion, not because of the above. What would I recommend if you are looking for an 850W power supply and you are looking for white and neat cabling? Buy a cheaper Seasonic (which also supplied the source base for Asus) and a Cable Extension set for it. It will cost you the same money, but you will be much more satisfied with the result. The ROG logo is not worth your money in this case.
