We bought our first MUM5 in 2013 and it has worked until now. It still works, but you can already feel the engine and the rev selector is starting to go a bit wrong. Given the fact that we have quite a few accessories and what a keeper it was, as we certainly didn't spare it, there was no doubt about the successor. Hopefully series 4 isn't somehow cheated and will hold up again.
The standard of accessories for decades - this is almost unique. You can then accumulate a lot of stuff at home, because you can gradually buy the accessories you need and when the main unit goes, you can still buy it.
It lasts a lot - with the older series it was no problem to knead the dough for a thick sourdough bread, to grind seeds for 30 minutes, to knead the same amount of time to mix the sludge from the meat pieces for ham, or to grind 6 kg of meat in one go, to chop 20 litres of vegetables into the mixture for the freezer and so on.
I'd go through the photos a bit and eliminate the ones that contain the squeegee - it's not there. This is, of course, a criticism of the seller, not of the product; o)
