I need to scan duplex first and foremost - if you also think that a single pass duplex scanner is the fastest this printer will definitely lead you astray - it is the slowest scanner I have experienced. He pulls up one page, thinks for two minutes and pulls up another, after pages 5 to 10 he throws up a nonsensical error message (like the cable has been disconnected. ) and saves nothing. Out of ten attempts to scan and save 10-15 pages on both sides, 3 were successfully saved. This printer will waste your time in an incredible way. In addition, pages often get stuck in the feeder, so it will crease your "ironed" new pages. The wifi connection often drops the signal - you have to give a connection lookup and reconnect the printer manually. Despite the power saving prohibition, the printer goes to sleep. If you send a page to it for printing, nothing happens, you have to go and manually initiate it. It's not worth mentioning that the scan quality is lousy, the font is frayed (at 300 dpi), what would you want for the money that.. Often, for unknown reasons, the press "bites". Failed to get it to work despite several hours of effort with LAN cable connection (when wifi was dropping out) although the display indicated that the connection was fine. Untuned drivers, software. just for spite!
