I admire those negative reviews. Gentlemen (and ladies), you won't get anything better at this price! Yes, you need to specify what you expect from the tape in the first place. If it has to go above the kitchen counter - then it is not a good choice. This strip is intended either behind the TV (if you don't want a live reaction of the TV image), or behind the PC desk, or somewhere where it is supposed to do only scenery/image. The belt can also change colours in segments. Connecting to the apple home kit is perhaps one of the few that can do this. It shines strongly compared to the competition and has a lot of LEDs per meter which is also not visible. It is rubberized so it does not mind water vapor or spilling. I have ordered about 6 more in a similar price range from competitors via sonoff and govee but they don't take either.
