The installation on the Creality K1 Max printer was quite fine. Only the PTFE tube from the cutter to the extruder is short for the K1 Max. Another problem is that the original tube was inserted deep into the extruder but after mounting the new filament sensor on the extruder this is no longer the case. Between the sensor and the extruder a larger hole of about 6 mm remains and the filament is reliably jammed there. I solved it with a short PTFE tube of about 6.4 mm. The new firmware that has to be loaded into the printer is a tragedy. Anyone who has had configuration adjustments and root before, forget it. No Fluid or Mainsal, not even the original Creality website, just the interface in Creality Print. This also basically makes it impossible to print from a slicer other than Creality. Supposedly, connecting the printer to the ethernet via cable doesn't work either, I haven't tried. The introduction of filament is also horrible. It always loads filament from the first slot, for example PLA, even if you want to print from e.g. the third slot where you have ABS. If you manually introduce the correct filament before printing, the printer will still eject it and then return it for printing again. Another thing is colour printing. When the automatic setting is used for the cleaning tower, enabled by default, the tower is huge. This uses more filament to print a small item than the print itself, and the printing time is incredibly long. Manual tower settings in Creality Print v7. x does not work when switching to the next colour the print ends with an error. So Creality Print v6. x is where it's at. Just hardware pretty good, but the firmware is maybe some alpha development version and I have the last one available. I give it one star. If Creality catches the bugs, it could be quite functional with easy assembly compared to CFS on K1 series printers.
