The cooler is quite massive and the installation itself is mostly trouble-free, with the exception of the fan. For some unfathomable reason, the fan mounting clips are extremely stiff. In a larger case, this may not be a major issue yet because you have room to use more fingers, but in a smaller case where your whole hand doesn't fit, installing a fan is a real struggle. The fan at low speed (about 300-600 RPM) gives the impression of "clicking", however, this is most likely just an optical effect caused by the Deepcool's asymmetrical sticker. What I was not pleasantly surprised by, however, are the relatively high idle and light load temperatures, which range between 55-65 °C. For comparison - my older SilentiumPC Spartan 4, which is about three times smaller and has only two heatpipes, reached idle temperatures of around 45-50 °C. I have three intake fans and two exhaust fans in my case. Users who use an ARGB controller built into a cabinet should be careful of the cable length. The ARGB cable is about 25-30 cm long, which can be a problem in some cases. I personally got it into the controller just barely and it took a lot of effort. On the other hand, the presence of daisy-chain wiring is pleasing - the fan and heatsink take up only one ARGB port. Paste used: Arctic MX4
