I intended the Devolo Powerline as an upgrade from the TPLink 7027, because on paper it promises significantly higher speeds. The reality is unfortunately different and where older competitors give stable over 200 MBit/s, Devolo indicates a weak connection and the speed did not get over 2 MBit/s. With larger dimensions and almost triple the price, this is an unpleasant surprise. The test was performed between two adjacent rooms on the same stage. In another test on sockets barely 1 meter away from each other, the Devolo was already transferring 200 MBit/s, but under these conditions such a result is no miracle. For completeness, I would like to add that I bought an already unpacked piece because another one was not in stock and it is possible that the previous buyer returned the goods with the same experience.
