I had the same problem with the FIXED strap, but this Eternico has at least a bit more robust plastic lugs, so I solved the problem by enlarging the holes to 2 mm and stuffing the original quality lugs from the original cracked Garmin strap into them. It's finally holding.

Decent strap, but it just doesn't fit perfectly (compared to the original nylon one from Samsung - compared to the Galaxy watch 4, 44mm).
