I tried the Pixel 'a' series for the first time instead of the 'normal' series and I'm not disappointed at all. I bought it at a time when the Pixel 11 was already on the market, and I have no regrets. A MUCH lower price and I didn't actually miss out on anything. Pixel rarely makes any revolution (and if they do, it's usually for the worse, like when they tried to remove the fingerprint sensor), so you can easily buy 'two generations back' and save a lot of money on what is essentially the same phone. And given their policy of long-term software support, it doesn't matter. By 'the same' I mean 'equally good' – Pixel maintains its quality over the long term (apart from a few exceptions) and they usually make changes cautiously.
Very good price for a Pixel.
The forks look good enough, the image stabilisation works.
Long software support.
Unlike other manufacturers, there are relatively few pre-installed apps.
Forced Google apps that I don't need, but which cannot be removed.

It makes calls, wakes me up, sends messages, etc.
Clear display in bright sunlight
Narrow, can be operated and used to take photos with one hand.
Not made in China
The 5G, compared to the original 4G on my old phone, hasn't convinced me.
Low battery life
Tezky
The way the calendar is displayed, with no option to change it
The side buttons control the media volume by default, not the ringer volume, which I would have preferred – it's not possible to change this setting. So to adjust the ringer volume, I have to press the side button, click the settings icon that appears with the media volume control, go into the settings for all sounds, and then move the slider for the ringer. It's very impractical compared to Samsung.

Bought for 8,7990. The price/performance ratio is very decent.
Battery – 6 to 7 hours of standard use.
System - Clean Android, very close to iOS.
AirDrop - A feature between Android and Apple. Works brilliantly.
7 years of Android support
Weight
The battery could last longer, considering its large capacity.

Faulty autofocus, dreadful and unusable video
The goods did not have their original factory packaging; the seals were stuck shut with some chewing gum; they were open but showed no signs of use,
a battery and a mobile phone from 12/24, when it wasn’t even being manufactured yet
The overall impression is that it’s some sort of manufacturing defect, which is why it’s been discounted. The return period has expired today, so I’m out of luck. I had quite high expectations of the Pixel, but this phone takes worse photos and videos than my rugged Bizon GT2 5G.
Suspected damage during transport and handling.

This is very much a personal matter, and I suppose a lot of things can be sorted out, but I’d simply like to have that choice. Lately, it’s all about plugging things in, using launchers and so on. It’s a big flat thing that’s hard to fit in your pocket. It cannot be operated with one hand. It’s hard to hold onto because of the corners. Then there’s Android 16, which really gets on my nerves with its top menu that’s been changed yet again. The iPhone is a good example of this – I didn’t buy one precisely because I can’t be bothered with doing things that take multiple clicks, and how did that turn out? I’m organising events that require multiple clicks. I don’t want to have Wi-Fi switched on all the time, so my desk doesn’t keep vibrating with notifications, do I? With just two clicks. So I want to switch on Do Not Disturb mode, and lo and behold, there are four modes. OK, so I’ll delete everything except one thing and I’m hoping it’ll be a one-click job. No, it's not. The fingerprint reader is a story in its own right. It’s ridiculously high; it’s hard to hit. And anyway, it doesn’t respond when the screen is off. You therefore need to tap the screen to activate it. I suppose I expected more from it, and it’s rather a disappointment. I realise they’re trying to be progressive, but they’ve really missed the mark on this one.

I switched from an iPhone to the aforementioned Google Pixel 9a, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The transition is really easy and the environment is very similar to the iPhone, but unlike the iPhone it offers enough features, a cheaper price, more storage and battery life. It's a difference from regular android phones. If someone is looking for a simple and sleek environment like the iPhone has, but with more memory and battery life at half the price, they should definitely consider this phone. It also has a very smooth and pleasant operation when in use. For me, a phone that did well 👍
