A stylish, slightly retro kettle that offers a few great features like temperature settings, touch controls and a beep that actually feels modern. You can see the current temperature and therefore the progress of the water boiling, and it can hold the temperature for 2 hours, but then there are a few inaccuracies compared to the description. The double-walled surface gets hot, and don't expect automatic lid opening. But it boils quite quickly and it works, which is what matters. For me, the price-performance ratio is good :)
A designer kettle in perhaps a slightly retro style that fits well in the kitchen, and I like it :-)
The fantastic display shows the current water temperature, so you can see the boiling progress.
smoothly adjustable temperature in 10-degree increments, so tea at 90, coffee at 100, etc.
The option to hold the temperature for 2 hours, where it reheats the water to the desired temperature every five minutes if it cools down (I don't know how to use this feature).
The touch control is via a single button, which also rotates to regulate the temperature, so you can't turn it on with your elbow if you have dirty hands from cooking.

To refill the water, you have to completely remove the lid by its rather small handle, which requires quite a bit of force (it's like a stopper). If there's hot water inside, you come into contact with the steam.
The surface in the picture looks almost like silicone, but it's not. It's that plasticky type, although it looks good, it feels pretty standard to the touch.
You can check the water level in the handle section. This is a bit impractically hidden, an internal light would also be useful, but that would probably be asking too much.

I bought this kettle mainly for the whole family and so far we're all happy with it. What I appreciate most is the ability to set the exact temperature depending on what we're making at the time. The water heats up quickly and thanks to the display I always have an overview of what temperature it's heated to. Plus, it has a nice look and fits well in the kitchen.
