This is the third type of socket I have purchased for the same purpose. The experience is again not good, although this time at least some important things work. I evaluated the previous two types, the first TP-Link Tapo 110M and the second NEO Smart Matter WiFi 16 A (NAS-WR15WM), as unusable. I returned one of them for a fault, the 230 V output remained permanently switched on, even though the app and button showed the off state. The second one I'm going to advertise because it's often off-line, the WI-Fi connection breaks and the socket becomes unmanageable from the Tuya app. I don't know if I'm extremely unlucky in my purchase or if they're all unreliable Chinese rejects. The last type IMMAX NEO Lite Smart purchased on Alza switches outputs reliably and has a reliable Wi-Fi connection, it does not get into an off-line state. I wanted a socket that can also use the 5 GHz band, but these are practically unavailable, so I gave up this request. I also wanted an outlet that supported the Smart Matter protocol. After two unsuccessful previous attempts, I gave up on this request as well, which opened up a wider range of types. Since I use the socket to switch chargers, it seemed appropriate to buy the type with the charger already built-in. I accepted in advance that the built-in charger only gives a small current. Enough for a smartwatch, headphones, e-reader, and a smartphone. books or for slow charging of your mobile phone to save battery. I connect more powerful chargers to a wirelessly controlled socket to the 230V output. Unfortunately, only two USB-A charging connectors work well on the socket. The USB-C connector does not provide power, it does not charge. I have tried at least five different USB cables from different manufacturers, with and without the chip, rated for small currents and explicitly charging 5 A, all in vain. Only one USB-C/USB-A adapter has been successful. When I plug it into the USB-C connector on the socket, it puts voltage at its output and can be used for charging. But for me this is not an advantage, I already have two USB-A connectors directly on the socket and I don't need a third one. In desperation, I cut the plastic around the USB-C connector on the socket to make the USB-C connector of the attached cable go deeper. As a result, one of the previously tested cables (USB-C/USB-A) started working with the socket, but it didn't help me in any way. The cable again has a USB-A connector on the other end, which I don't need. I wish other customers a happier hand in their choice.
