I have an Adam Audio T7V at my PC at home, I thought I found the sound of these T7Vs a bit flat and decided to purchase 2x Partybox 120 as a "High end" stereo setup, unfortunately I was not impressed, the speaker even in a medium sized room sounds incredibly fake and lacks crisp highs, through the EQ in the app it can be relatively tweaked, but it's just not the same, I've listened to the same song over and over again in the same room, but the Partybox 120 made it a fake overdriven mess. In the end, I tweaked the T7V slightly via the equalizer and got a much better result. Aside from all the negatives, the Partybox is fun and a good travel buddy with its stamina and volume for its size, so I kept one, but it's really only for outdoor use or get-togethers, I believed JBL still had that signature live sound that sends shivers down my spine, but sadly that's not the case. But the performance is great. If the speaker had X ART (foil) heights, that's a different story and instead of some effects, the speaker could have had a button for indoor X outdoor use which would have made it a 10 out of 10 portable affair.
