The switch puts up a lot of resistance for a while and then it "drops". Same type as the yellow Banana version, but with a stronger spring. Thanks to the greater resistance, the possibility of pressing the other key is reduced in case of a slight mistake (pressing two keys). I miss being able to try multiple switch variants in the shop. The keyboards on display only have linear switches and I think 2 had blue extra loud ones. Also, I think these are not lubricated - the brown ones I have show oil in the spoons. Dry here. They're quite loud. I had the brown ones (supplied with the Keychron K10 Max keyboard) and the red quiet ones as well. Both types were too linear and harder to write on. The brown ones say "tactile", but the proclaimed "hit" during the squeeze is not noticeable even with great concentration. Basically, they differ only in the strength of the spring - the brown ones put more resistance than the red ones.
