For the money, it's an absolutely terrible quality mouse. Save a few hundred and get the G502 Hero instead, a much better mouse that also has interchangeable weights.
the response of the wheel, and the force of the wheel steps is quite pronounced
noisy buttons
the wheel is noisy, and looks cheap, even though it is metal
looks like a mouse for a few hundred

I found the G502X to be a very nice mouse, except for one major problem, the scroll wheel. I've never seen such an unpleasantly loud wheel. I would liken it to a loud mechanical keyboard - as soon as you start scrolling, everyone in the household knows about it. Which especially in the evening is a problem, and was the reason I eventually returned the mouse. The wheel is also harder to click, it has a lot of resistance, and I use middle click all the time. I got a chance to compare it to the Razer Basilisk V3 that I picked up as a replacement and it makes an incredible difference, the scroll wheel is quiet and very comfortable with it. I'll also mention the Logitech G Hub, the control software, which isn't as terrible as a lot of people write about it, but it's not great either. It suffers from a strange schizophrenia, if you want to use profiles stored on the mouse and not on the system (if you have multiple PCs, or Linux for example), and every time you change you need to switch modes and then export the profile to the mouse, it's very confusing and cumbersome. In contrast, I found the Razer Synapse to be much better designed, intuitive, and without the strange limitations of the G Hub. One more note on the extra buttons - I imagined the advantage of having extra buttons over the standard 3+2 especially when playing, but the reality is that most games don't recognize them. So you have to map different keyboard shortcuts, differently for each game, and that's quite a chore. That's not a Logitech problem, that's a general problem, but overall then the benefit of those extra buttons is pretty minimal for me.
it fits very well in the hand (the left and right sides are particularly well shaped) and feels great
extra programmable buttons (but more for desktop than gaming)
well-designed thumb (snip) button, can be moved according to the length of the thumb, or turned off completely
without backlight
button and DPI configurations can be saved in the mouse
the buttons are a little louder, but it's not a big deal
the wheel is extremely loud and stiff, for me the primary reason to return
I would be afraid of pulling the handbag over the edge of the table
G Hub is confused and convoluted

No problem with the sensor
Clear app with wide settings
Rotating wheel
Macros in the application
Cord length
Relatively lightweight
Good slippery surfaces
Lots of well-placed buttons
Magnetic DPI button - can be rotated or capped
It doesn't have a braided cable, hopefully it will last
The mouse is more slanted on the right side and the hand is more cat-like - it's about preference
Cannot adjust weight

I've been picking a mouse for a while that would be good for productivity and occasional gaming, and I don't regret ending up here. Gaming mouse with many productive functions (sidescroll, g-shift, macros). For pro players it can be very heavy, but for me the weight is still ok,
extra buttons
price performance
Sensor
quality
I've had it for 1,5 years and still no problems
sidescroll
wheel with 2 modes
looks elegant (without rgb)
I'm gonna buy a wireless mouse and I'm gonna buy this one again but wireless..: -D. Which is pretty demotivating
