First of all, it's a stylish keyboard - it looks nice and lifts the mood. Typing on it is a bit like an old typewriter - the style of the keys, their high-stroke mechanics and the sound. It increases my focus on writing (for now). It's surprisingly heavy. It sits well on the table and does not slip at all. The smiley buttons only work after installing LogiOptions+, and the app also needs to remap the buttons when you replace the hats with a different smiley. That's a bit of a downside - not everyone wants to install another app. Moreover, the app is only for Windows and Mac. The keyboard as such works without the app and can connect via BT to iPhone and iPad, but the smiley buttons don't work on them. On the other hand, thanks to the app, the keyboard behaviour is highly customisable and you can map almost anything to the smiley buttons and virtually the entire top row of buttons, such as your favourite keyboard shortcuts. The smiley buttons are on the keyboard next to Enter and Backspace, where there is nothing on other keyboards, so I sometimes misspell. 😄 But it's definitely a matter of habit. The microphone mute button proved unexpectedly useful (in this day and age of video calls). The loud clicking of buttons could annoy colleagues in the office or at home at late hours when others are asleep. The ESC button is mirror plated. It's not very visible in photos, but it's quite noticeable in real life.
