Let me review. It's great that the phone sticks to the earlier model. For keyboard issues, but otherwise satisfied with the Nokia 230, I decided to buy the same model, just updated from 2024. It works almost the same, with only minor adjustments in the OS. The first change, rather for the worse is the Menu, in the older version it was better. Nicer. But it serves the purpose anyway and allows more or less the same settings. It's great that they ditched the selfie button, which was completely unnecessary in the older version. Now they have replaced it with a Camera button, however, it starts in front camera mode, I have to switch to the rear camera after launch and it cannot be reconfigured. SMS works a little differently than in the older version. It looks like they are lined up behind each other and not grouped by sender like in the older version. Change for the worse again. And the last thing, the alarm clock, also works a bit worse, the name of the alarm item cannot be renamed, so there is e.g. Warning 2 and I have to remember it's Saturday. Let's rename it. And if the alarm rings and I snooze, in the older version I could end the snooze at any time and the alarm didn't ring again, in the new version I have to wait 10 minutes and then stop it. There's a lot of other sub-settings in the menu that are otherwise, rather a bit worse, but basically, it's a usable phone.
It follows the spirit of the previous model
The completely unnecessary Selfie button from the previous model has disappeared
It's great that they switched to USB-C
The radio works without headphones (although I don't need it, but it works)
Less nice menu icons and their placement as in the previous model
The camera button starts in front camera mode, you always have to manually switch to rear camera mode.
The SMS does not sort by sender, but ranks all of them in the order in which they were received.
Item in alarm cannot be renamed
The snooze alarm cannot be terminated afterwards, you must wait 10 minutes for the next ring.
The sub-menu configuration is rather for the worse, the older version was clearer. Maybe it's just habit.
