Up until now I had a pocketbook touch 4 which fulfilled everything I wanted from a reader, but it started to go off on the system. I've had this one for barely a week and if it wasn't for the better resolution I'd probably trade it for a 629 with SD, I'm terribly disappointed with this model it's text and unusable bluetooth to transfer books, it doesn't have a speaker or headphone jack so fairly limited choice of how to listen. The bookshop has changed and cannot be set to another one. On the other hand, it was nice to see how they handled the PDF reading, you can adjust the framing and the way the pages scroll and it seems to be done, what PDF is the option to set it differently. It is significantly more responsive and should support jpg as well. As for waterproofing, the old one didn't have it and he didn't mind the rain either and I don't have a bathtub..: -)

I had an old Touch HD3 reader that broke after six years. So I went to this successor and have no regrets. It reads beautifully, it's nicely bright, the system is polished, it's fast. Pocketbook support responds within minutes and is very helpful. The reader is waterproof. Suepr on vacation. Just the right size for your hand and pocket. And it's better than the colored version, which has an ugly gray layer.
