To use the basic features of the app, such as uploading or saving your own designs, you must pay a subscription fee. That's a really, really bad joke.

If you want to upload more than 20 custom designs per week, you have to pay in the app.
Custom designs are not saved after upload, but it counts towards the 20 per week limit.
If you want to save and print those uploaded designs later, you have to pay in the app.
If you design your own design in the horrible GUI, again you can only print it but you have to pay to save it.
A lot of the designs that are already in the app you just don't print unless you pay a subscription fee.
Colour printing is not much, but it's probably about skill
