- I bought the kettle because it fits just right in the fridge door and mainly it filters out only what you don't want in the water and leaves minerals in it that are good for the body. I set up the kettle according to the instructions and then tried filling one glass with tap water and one glass with filtered water from the kettle. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell the difference even though I knew which water should be the better one. I doubt it was the quality of the local water, as I live in the Ústí region (Teplice). I used to live in Prague, where the difference might be more noticeable. There I used a kettle with a classic filter (from a competitor) and the difference between filtered and unfiltered water was very significant. Unfortunately, I am an ordinary person and I do not have my own laboratory to verify and compare the quality of filtration, as I mentioned, I did not notice any noticeable difference in smell and taste, so the quality of filtration in this kettle is more a matter of faith: -) - The fact that the kettle filters the water slowly is standard for all filter kettles, but the fact that the water cannot be poured from it normally is no longer usual. If you look closely at the product picture, you will see that the only hole to the bottom is the pouring hole. The inserted filter spacer fits tightly against the walls and there is not a gap anywhere else. The spout is also quite small. This causes the water in the kettle to flow very slowly - VERY slowly indeed. This is because there is nowhere else for air to get into the kettle, only through small leaks between the main part of the kettle and the removable part with the filter. Just a bad design solution. - The hinged cover at the pouring hole is more for show. I guess it was meant to be used (as with other competing kettles) to keep dust from falling inside. Unfortunately, there is such a gap in the opening mechanism that you can see inside without any problem, so it rather just makes the opening smaller, but otherwise it doesn't perform its function as it should. In conjunction with the low water flow, it doesn't even turn off properly when pouring and the water splashes around a bit. Expect to have droplets around the glass as well. Fortunately, it's clean water. - To sum it up, I will probably use the kettle until the end of the filter's lifetime and then I will fly the whole kettle into the plastic and buy some proper proven brand. Too bad about the money and that the competition doesn't make more types of filters.
He looks nice.
Practical dimensions
The air intake solution is missing.
The hinged cover does not fulfil its function (if it has any, except as a decoration).
Subjective - I did not notice an improvement in the taste of the water.
