Fits beautifully in the hand

I swapped the Razer Viper Mini for the Basilisk - the biggest difference is the shape and weight (slightly heavier, but it suits me).
Flexible cable
Glides great
High DPI
Adjustable backlight
Option to switch scroll button to free scroll
Pressing the scroll button does not respond as well

Best mouse I've ever had. It has everything I ever wanted and didn't even know I wanted.
ergonomically comfortable even for larger hands
lots of buttons (everyone uses forward and back in the browser right on the thumb)
sw - possibility to customize everything
light
adjustable DPI steps
high sensor accuracy
polling rate up to 1000hz
possibility to switch the wheel between free spinning mode and steps
lightweight cable
on the original razor pad glides absolutely fantastic
pleasant RGB to my taste
extra button for temporary sensitivity reduction - suitable for both sniping and drawing
27000 DPI you won't really use
can't be easily split to clean the wheels but this is now standard

After more than a year of daily, at least six-hour use, I can write a fairly truthful, and unbiased review. The mouse is positioned roughly on the cusp of upper-middle and mid-range in the price range. For its price, you get a very capable and complete package that will be especially appreciated by players of all games other than the FPS genres. The mouse is actually quite heavy, but I deliberately don't write it in pluses and minuses, because it's subjective. I prefer heavier mice, so it suits me. I've used the macro button, located in a very handy place at the tip of my thumb, in almost every game. It can also be reassigned to any other key on the keyboard. The button doesn't get in the way despite my inhumanly huge claws. The processing of the mouse is let's say 2- because as I mention in the minuses, some parts just didn't work out. The rubber under the thumb is obviously only glued on, and not taped with a soft pad. This unfortunately leads to a slight flexing, and creaking, which unfortunately you can feel in your hand. The rattling innards of the mouse were also really getting on my nerves. The plastic parts of the mouse are made of Razer's now classic plastic, which is thick, does not collect fingerprints, and does not slip despite the sweaty hand. It also retains heat very poorly, so you can't warm up the mouse in your hand as easily. The accuracy of the sensor is 1*, and I have never had a mouse skip. It can handle long pulling movements, even small jerks. The sensor is also located center mass, so both wrist or whole hand aiming can be applied without difficulty. But in general, you can feel on the mouse and from the shape that Razer rather planned to aim with the whole hand. The mouse is designed for a "shovel" grip, where you should keep contact with the mouse with the bottom of your hand for proper comfort. Ergonomically, it's honed down to the last detail, the mouse is very sharply tilted so even carpalists can continue playing in peace, but at the same time it doesn't interfere with accuracy like true vertical mice do. I'm attaching actual photos.
Sensor accuracy
Extra thumb button
Wheel unlock function via solenoid, and the automatic unlock function made available by flicking the wheel
Surface, non-slip, rough and able to absorb sweat without slipping
After 5000 hours of use, the surface is not particularly worn, especially the side rubber lasted surprisingly without the slightest damage
Combined with the Razer Strider Chroma pad, it has almost zero frictional resistance. Only wire brakes, and only very sparingly
The wire is very light, you hardly know about it. It is also very flexible, and is easily worked behind the table to the desired length
The buttons on the mouse lasted without unwanted double-clicks or unregistered presses. They still work and click like they did when I first plugged the mouse in
I'm probably the only one, but the Razer software works for me. It works almost without any problem after W11 fly swatting
A very affordable price for a very complete entry-level mouse package from Razer
The RGB is very high quality, and still functional after a long time of use.
Perfect ergonomics
The rubber surface under the thumb tends to squeak when held harder, which has been driving me incredibly mad the entire time I've had the mouse.
Thanks to the solenoid to unlock the wheel, the mouse knocks slightly when lifted and then put down, it feels that the mechanism inside has some play, and it wobbles.
The LMB and RMB covers have been so fiddly from the start. In my opinion, it's on purpose to make the button press have the same resistance in any place, but I don't give a shit
An absolute disaster to keep clean, the mouse has a myriad of sharp edges that very consistently collect dirt from your hands, piling it up in disgusting piles. And I wash my hands, and wipe my mouse every week with IPA, and special forechtung for electronics maintenance
The mouse wheel in Tactile mode looks incredibly cheap. Yes, the stops stop him precisely, but there is a certain will in him. And here I notice about the only noticeable wear and tear on the mouse. The stop inside the mouse has probably lost some of its material, and the wheel no longer has the strength to hold
