I'm switching to the new Buds 4 Pro from the Samsung Buds2 headphones and I have to say that the jump is huge. The sound is very pleasant and clear. I especially appreciate the extensive setting options, which allow me to customize the headphones' settings exactly to my liking. I was a bit worried whether the headphones would hurt my ears after a long time, but I have to admit that they fit my ear perfectly - they felt even better than the previous generation. As far as connectivity is concerned, everything was lightning fast. Immediately after tipping the case, the phone asked me to pair, so the connection was as simple and intuitive as possible. The only thing I'm missing so far is support for the voice assistant in Czech, which is currently only available in English. I hope to see this feature in future updates.

I switched to these headphones from the Galaxy Buds2 and use them with the Galaxy S25. Compared to them I have to highlight their comfort in the ear, I almost don't even know I have them there, but they still hold tight. At first I had a bit of a problem with the controls/touch, but I guess you just have to get used to it and then it goes well. Adaptive noise cancelling works great, I haven't yet encountered an environment where it behaves differently than I require. Everyone I've called is finally comfortable with my voice and they didn't even hear me open the plastic bag. Unfortunately, I don't have the "Head Gestures" option in the settings yet, but maybe that will come with the One UI 8.5 update. I would prefer to give the headphones a 4.5/5 rating, but since I can't, I'm giving it a 5.

As a long-time 1st generation AirPods Pro user, I was looking for an adequate replacement for the Samsung S25 and these headphones met my expectations. I'm getting used to the transparent cap on the case, but the magnets are great and the fit of the headphones is very satisfying. The sound is a definite upgrade for me; the whole spectrum is better distributed and the bass and treble are cleaner, although I feel a more pronounced EQ in the base. The shape suits me and they hold steady in my ears even when moving. The leap forward for me is the gesture control on the stopwatch, where I finally have volume. Pairing with the S25 was instant and I appreciate that the detailed setup is right on the phone. While I do hear a small but audible noise in pass-through mode compared to the AirPods, overall I'm very happy with the buds 4 pro as an alternative on android.

After a week of use, I can say that the new headphones bring great improvements, although there are some minor intergenerational concessions (I own the Buds 3 Pro, silver). Pairing and automatic switching between your phone (Galaxy S24) and tablet (Tab S11) is seamless and intuitive. The battery is a huge advantage. Even with active use, my headphone capacity hasn't dropped below 50% yet, and I haven't had to charge the case itself at all. I was very surprised by the ANC performance, it is noticeably stronger compared to the last generation. I sometimes get headaches from using standard noise cancellation for long periods of time, so I appreciate the Dynamic ANC mode immensely. It significantly reduces these symptoms without making significant compromises in damping performance. The new internal shape of the box is a huge plus - the headphones themselves will guide you to the right place. With the Buds 3 Pro, even after two years, I still sometimes get confused about which foot goes where, which doesn't happen here. But the case has its negatives too. It's thicker, harder to carry in your pocket, and the plastic feels cheaper to the touch than its predecessor. The hinge of the cap is aggressive when closing and I would appreciate dampening when closing. The newly curved area around the USB-C port further increases the risk of damage to my external magnetic charging adapter. I have a rather neutral to negative attitude towards the new control system. It's probably more intuitive for newcomers, but I found it more comfortable to operate the headphones from the back with my thumb than from the front with my index finger. The pinch sensor is also placed too low for my taste, although this is probably just a habit. However, it is still a very good control system. The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are definitely a great piece of technology and engineering. It definitely outperformed its predecessors, but not enough for me to recommend in good conscience that all Buds 3 Pro owners invest in a new one. However, if money is not an issue or you are moving from an older device, I definitely recommend it.
