I was really pleasantly surprised by the S26 Ultra. Innovations like the private display are great - the ability to shield the screen content from the view of others works reliably without compromising the quality of the display. The display is beautifully bright, sharp and the colours look natural even in direct light. The new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip is also a huge shift. The phone is extremely fast, responsive, and even demanding apps or multitasking are no problem - whether it's working with multiple apps at once, streaming video, or playing games. The camera is also a pleasant surprise. The phone shoots really well, with high detail, good dynamic range and colours that look natural in both daylight and low light. A big bonus is the new Galaxy AI, which is really a blast. It makes everyday use of your phone easier, helps with text editing, translation and note organisation, and acts as a practical assistant that you can quickly start using to its full potential. I also really appreciate the design - Samsung has gone back to gently rounded corners, similar to the S21 Ultra. This makes the phone feel more comfortable in the hand and the ergonomics are noticeably better than those of the edgier generations. As a user of the S23 Ultra, however, I see one small negative. It's a shame that the S Pen no longer has the Bluetooth functionality that previously allowed, for example, remote control of the camera or presentations. Overall, however, the S26 Ultra feels like a premium device without compromise. The combination of top performance, innovative features, a quality camera and a great design makes it one of the best phones on the market.

Absolute enthusiasm so far. The display is just in a different league - the colours, the brightness and the anti-glare coating, you have to see it in person, photos don't do it justice. It looks like the icons are floating right on the glass

This level of compatibility with wireless chargers will be hard to beat by the competition 🤡
The CPU has optimizations for running local LLMs with Q8 quantization.
The camera's coming out.

Right off the bat, a really perfect transfer of all settings from the old phone to the new one. Including the car. filling in passwords, logging in to all WiFi ever used, of course, transferring data from calendar, SMS, photos, videos and picture. It's really progress.
the transition from S20 5G FE to S26 ultra is already noticeable, S26 ultra is noticeably faster
brighter and sharper display
new interesting One UI 8.5
pairing and control from the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro headset, without the need to install an app.
if you have at least a 40W charger, charging a fully discharged mobile phone to 100% is really incredibly fast in just tens of minutes and be careful, no heating!
when talking even in a slightly busy environment, hard to hear the handset despite its max. settings
the solution is to switch to loud listening, which is really very loud, but everyone can hear what you are saying.

When moving from the S23 Ultra 1TB to the S26 Ultra 1TB, I didn't know it would be such a leap. I was reluctant to make the switch because of the really quite high price of the device, but now I know I did really well and I'm set for at least 3 years just like with the S23 Ultra. The camera is great, the speed of fingerprint reading finally meets my demands - whether when entering the phone or, for example, confirming payments. The only thing I would change are the rather protruding cameras on the back of the phone, but I understand that 200MPx won't fit anywhere right away.

A bit of a disappointment for me. I'm evaluating a mobile phone priced around 40k, so stricter benchmarks can be applied here. The photomodule on the back was probably designed by someone who will probably never use this phone. When placed on the table, it wobbles so much that it is uncomfortable, which should definitely not be the case with a machine designed for work. Even most of the covers sold won't save it. Another minus is the missing magsafe, which is again not present in the body but you have to buy the corresponding cover. For a 15k phone I would probably wave my hand over it, for a top model it's a shame. The stylus feels like a plastic carnival toy, is very thin, so it is difficult to hold in the hand and sticks out the wrong way when inserted. The lack of bluetooth is just a small thing. The phone is filled with bloatware from Samsung and its literally "cluttered" One UI is already starting to resemble Chinese brands. The privacy display, which was supposed to be Samsung's biggest draw according to the presentation, is for the most part more of a marketing gimmick and its benefit is more than questionable. I don't expect I'll ever use it, but some users will probably tout the display dimming and viewing angle limitation as an awesome feature. Most of the AI features that Samsung attracts us to are unusable in our conditions, as English is unfortunately not among all supported languages. Otherwise, the performance of the phone is decent, the display has a nice color rendering, but due to the confident price it is again not such a miracle. I don't rate the video because I don't use it practically. The photos are nice. Can I recommend it? If the phone is to be used primarily for gaming, video shooting and photography, do not mind the absence of magsafe, unpleasant swaying on the table, language restrictions on some functions or the high price for the brand, then the purchase can be recommended.
Power
Quality camera
Large enough and nice display
Extremely convex photomodule (swaying on the table)
Missing MagSafe
Too thin stylus with a slanted tip
Privacy display is more of a marketing gimmick
Most AI functions without English
Lots of pre-installed bloatware from Samsung
There is practically nothing in the packaging and the recycled paper box is not very impressive either (unfortunately a common trend nowadays)

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to replace my old S24 Ultra. The on-screen privacy feature seems really useful, and I really like that I can quickly turn it off whenever I don't need it. As for AI, the new features are a great addition to the existing ones. What I like most is that when editing photos, I no longer have to save intermediate steps as separate copies - the entire workflow has become cleaner and faster. As for the hardware and display, everything is perfect as usual. The only minor minus for me - S Pen feels like a downgrade, it's smaller and without BT, and why I need button on it now idk. Nevertheless. My first impression is very positive and the phone is excellent overall.

Great satisfaction so far. It's a move up 3 versions for me, so I can't judge how big a jump it is for people who had the S25 Ultra. I'm happy with the camera, especially the zoom and the photos at night. Furthermore, I enjoy editing photos using AI. Overall, the integration of AI into the functioning of the phone has a lot of potential for me. The next big shift I see is in the battery and charging speed. The battery lasts two days even with full use.

I have experience with previous S Ultra models and folders, so I wasn't expecting any "wow-effect" given the strong similarities, but the phone pleasantly surprised me. The slight rounding of the corners has helped the ergonomics both in the hold and especially in the pocket (it doesn't tear the pockets with sharp corners like the S24 or Fold 7), although the weight has dropped slightly, it's just somehow felt, the display and its privacy mode is a very functional and practical thing if one is moving between people after meetings or on the go, the battery is absolutely sufficient (I use the tablet and computer for work, so I can easily give two days without a charger) and the acceleration of charging is a big plus, admittedly I would have welcomed a magnet for charging and accessories directly in the body of the phone as in the Pixels, but the transparent case from Samsung is quite tasteful and works, I went back to using the Samsung Note with the s-pen and it is very practical, so for me there is a development in a good direction, it is not a leap, but the few practical tweaks convinced me.
design and improved ergonomics
balanced size and weight
customizable environment (OneUI8.5)
Enhanced camera modes (24Mpx)
s-pen and its functionalities
privacy mode is very practical
the lens protrusion could have been designed to be placed on the table (mainly for s-pen and Notes functionality)
not a magnet directly in the body
