I'm switching from S23 Ultra to S26 Ultra. The first amazing thing is the Smart Switch, which I used to transfer the entire content (files, apps and settings) of my old phone to the new one with one click. Only a few older apps were dropped and I replaced them with newer ones. I was looking forward to more AI options. I'm especially excited about the note assistant - summaries, bullet points, ... Another amazing feature is editing the photo using the text command, where you very faithfully add elements that are not in the photo. The camera is amazing. I also tried the photo and video at night and great. Another wonderful thing is deleting audio from the video - removing distracting sounds. The big draw for me was the Privacy Display, I'm thrilled, but I was expecting a bit more intense darkening. The new headphone settings are available in the settings menu, which is definitely more convenient. The S26 Ultra is also significantly lighter than the S23 Ultra, which is definitely more comfortable. I would just expect more battery capacity, but it compensates for the super fast charging. From nearly discharged to 100% in about 40 minutes.

I'm switching from an M53, so I have to say the jump is huge. The phone runs beautifully even with multiple apps running, the camera is great and some of the AI features are a blast. I personally praise the privacy display, although it reduces the quality of the image, but I take it as a great gadget e.g. for banking or similar (I couldn't have it on all the time, there really is a difference). I would really appreciate it if the notes from the lock screen would be saved somewhere in a reminder (so that it could pop up for the next full hour) instead of the usual notepad. Occasionally at work I need to write a quick note, but with a reminder. Many people criticize this year's rounded shape, but I welcome it. On the one hand, the price plays a big role, which for me is honestly quite exorbitant and when you compare it, besides the speed, photos, etc. the samsung interface is actually still the same. Anyway, sometimes you have to make yourself happy and see what the next days/weeks of use bring.

I bought the phone as an upgrade from the S22 Ultra. The phone is a lot faster than the S22 ultra and also drains the battery a lot slower. For someone who likes to shoot videos of trips or everyday life, this is a really big advantage. Another thing that pleasantly surprised me is the privacy display. When I look directly at the phone, I can see everything normally, but the people next to me can hardly see the content on the screen anymore. In practice, this means that no one can simply look at my phone on the tram or in a café, which I find a very practical feature. The speed of the phone is also very good. Everything runs smoothly, apps open instantly and the phone handles multitasking and more demanding apps without any problems. I was also pleasantly surprised by the battery - in normal use it lasts all day without problems and often much longer. But of course there are things I don't like at all. The first is the S Pen. The position of this model has changed a bit and when you try to insert it backwards, it doesn't sit quite right. It's not a big problem, but for such an expensive phone I would have expected a better solution. The second thing is the protruding cameras. The camera module is really pronounced and the phone is hard to lay flat because of it. Even with the cover it's not quite ideal and the phone sometimes wobbles a bit. Overall, however, I rate the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra very positively. Compared to the S24 Ultra, I noticed some nice improvements and the phone is really comfortable to use. If anyone is thinking of switching from the previous generation, for me it definitely makes sense.
