Before I got the Samsung I had the TCL X937U - these two soundbars are not comparable at all. However, this soundbar is really cool. The woofer is accurate and balanced, it doesn't make unnecessary noise or hurt the walls, of course it can be added. I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality as such. I was considering buying the JBL 1000, but finally decided on this one and I'm really happy with it. The only downside is the remote control - the soundbar has a pathetic display and some settings are an ordeal for me. Fortunately, everything can be easily and clearly set up in the app.

I purchased this soundbar as a replacement for the "old" Q950T. Not that the old one didn't play well, quite the opposite. But this new one plays one or two orders of magnitude better. I can't tear myself away from the projection.

I've been following soundbars for a few years now, and from my tips, there have been several satisfied users of systems into Sennheiser (Ambeo Plus) and Sonos (Arc ) in my area. When I finally saved up my piggy bank for a joyful soundbar, I also dove back into market research and reading reviews and foreign forums and everything available. I started with the decision to get a Sennheiser or Sonos. With Sennheiser, however, I was drawn to the more powerful and also disproportionately more expensive Ambeo MAX. However, its size was the 1st hitch - I would have to deal with hanging the TV on the wall etc. Moreover, I read on foreign forums that in my case (asymmetric room with a large passage to the next room) it would greatly reduce the accuracy of the whole right side of the system. It relies on reflections from the walls. Some reviewers pointed out that in such cases the soundbar loses its accuracy and would require rear boxes and we are already in the 70k etc. range. I then researched the Sonos Arc + back boxes and Subac. Again, I was with a price tag over 50k. So I added Sony and Bose to the game (I would save another app on my phone, since I already have other audio products from them). However, after reading audio and hifi sites, the Samsung HW Q990 series (and the letters C, or the latest D) started to appear more and more often. They were singing the praises of the Q990D everywhere, so I started to look more and more and finally with the interesting price on alza ( on sale for 23k) I thought that for that price it was probably the obvious choice. Although I have a 5 year old LG TV, I went to samsung and I am thrilled. Thanks to the whole setup, despite the asymmetrical and semi-open space, I managed to achieve a perfectly closed audio bubble in which the sound is completely immersive. Even at lower volumes in the evening, watching movies on TV is heaven and heaven. Movies like Dune 2 and Ready Player One made me remember a visit to the cinema when I enjoyed those movies to the fullest. The system connected beautifully and synchronized itself. Basically, you just plug in and flick 2 hdmi cables (xbox and tv) and everything works as it should. The only thing that was a bit frustrating for me was again further studying which brackets are suitable for hanging the rear crates. Finally I found a tip on Vogel's VL B500 B holders on the discussions. So I'll see if the assembly will be successful today. I highly recommend the system. I think that in the price range up to 30k (in some cases up to 40k) you can't get anything better. I was also considering a system from JBL with side detachable speakers. However, in the long run I was a bit worried about the battery life of the removable rear speakers.

Very happy with the soundbar, I was switching from the 800A and it' s a huge leap. The only minus compared to the previous soundbar is the less legible display, you have to bend down directly to it to see something. If someone has an Apple TV/4k, I recommend setting pass-trough, the sound will be louder and more enveloping (especially with Dolby Atmos)
