The instrument does what it is supposed to do, although I have no way to verify the values. The temperature is probably OK, but the humidity is inconsistent. Interestingly, until the air conditioning started the instrument showed 30% and after starting the air conditioning after an hour of operation and noticeable drying of the laundry air, the humidity according to the instrument increased to 55%, while the effect should be the opposite (the air conditioning normally dehumidifies and dries the air if I'm not mistaken, yes? ). After another hour of running the air conditioning (steady mode with no noticeable change), the value returned to 35%. It is difficult to judge whether the hygrometer works as it should. The temperature and humidity readings are large enough to be easily read from a distance, the time is displayed in a smaller size. The backlight is a good addition, but the carnival blue color is not very pleasing to the eye (subjective) fortunately it is switched on manually and for a while. Normal mode is without backlight. I appreciate the normal AA battery, and the design, size and price. I haven't tried the alarm function.
