I will not judge the sound quality. They play just fine. I got these headphones because I have so called. earbuds bother in the ear and in large headphones I feel hot. It's nice to hear. I got the mini version and I could tolerate the arch being a little smaller, but they still don't fall off and hold. I listen to audiobooks a lot now, and on a busy street or where there is more traffic, it's not easy to understand the spoken word.
