The rice cooker is easy to use and has plenty of programmes. I also like the function that keeps the food warm after cooking. The only thing that bothers me a bit is its size. It certainly won’t be a problem in a larger kitchen, but in mine it takes up quite a lot of space on the worktop.

The pack includes a rice measuring cup, a rice spoon, a steamer, an instruction manual and a handy recipe book. I'm the sort of person who reads instructions, so I picked it up and had a read. Then I picked up a cookbook and followed the instructions in it. The rice was wonderfully fluffy and tender, and you can see everything clearly on the handy display. I also made some soup and didn't have to worry about it boiling over, which is great. The soup turned out well and tasted delicious. I’ve also tried healthy steaming, and I’ve really taken to it. Everything was done perfectly and evenly. I can highly recommend this product, for example for small households, thanks to its versatility.

It does take up a bit more space on the hob, but given that both my husband and son love rice, a smaller one wouldn’t have been worth it. I also tried making porridge and stock, and it went well, although for me these functions are more of a bonus on the rice cooker. It took me a while to get used to the long warm-up, during which a spinning wheel just appears on the screen; I wasn’t quite sure what was happening, but once it’s warmed up, everything goes very quickly. It’s a shame it has to be washed by hand; it would be great if the pot could go in the dishwasher. But it’s actually really easy to wash, so it doesn’t matter that much.
