Great BT headphones, sound good, comfortable, don't fall off the head (e.g. the M6 version falls off), good range, ANC works well. They're very bloated in default. For me, you need to tweak the equalizer a bit on the bass and treble. This is via the Sony Mobile App. Importantly, the equalizer is stored in the headphones. Tozn, when connected to another BT device, the last equalizer setting remains. It's a good idea to turn off multi-connection in the app and turn on high quality preference. The difference with LDAC is quite noticeable. I have an iPhone, it doesn't have LDAC. For LDAC I bought Fiio Air Link (basically a USB soundbar with BT output, goes to a mobile phone, tablet, laptop) - the headphones sound significantly better.

When I bought them in January 2023, I was worried about how long they would last given that the XM4 are just plastic headphones. Today, in August 2025, I can already say that the structure is fine and almost three years later it is still holding up as it should. The sound, if you set it up in the Sound Connect app, is perfect. Thick bass, beautiful highs. Great balanced sound. Depends on how you set it up. Battery with ANC approx. 25 hours. I've tried it. Without ANC something around 50. 3.5mm Jack great that it's there. If the battery dies over time, the headphones can continue to be used without repair. Only without EQ and ANC, they are purely cable driven. So. At today's price of 5990Kč relatively unrivalled. If the design doesn't suit, there is only competition at this price in the form of Bowers&Wilkins Px7S2e.
